The Weather Channel Account Executive is responsible for developing all advertising and business opportunities in the assigned geographic territory. The ideal ad sales executive will also be responsible for maintaining and growing existing clients, while working as a team player within weather.com (TWC digital) to exceed annual goals. The ideal candidate will possess a lengthy list of local contacts at all agency and advertiser levels.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule and complete client presentationsDevelop client solutions and proposalsManage customer/client relationships through full sales cycle revenueAchieve individual revenue goals for TWC digitalFollow pricing policies to maximize revenueWork with all available sources to identify potential customersManage and develop solutions that optimize customer satisfactionDevelop and maintain relations with the largest clients and prospectsAdministrationCommunicate effectively with Marketing AssociatesLead trafficking efforts to superior customer serviceQualifications
Education, Experience, Certification Requirements:5 years plus Outside Media Sales experience and 3 years experience Digital Ad Sales requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Full sales cycle experience (from prospecting through account maintenance)Proposal writing experienceAdvertising Agency background and experience beneficialExperienced in identifying and establishing prospect listsCollaborative abilities to work with internal production teamProficiency & experience developing and executing strategic marketing plansExcellent communication skills including being articulate in all environmentsProblem solver and able to identify and translate customer needs into solutionsAdditional Information
