NOTE:Candidates need to be strategic thinkers and should have experience in multiple technology platforms.We need a (10+ years) Data Architect who is good with Data analytics and Data strategies and not a Big Data Architect.The Data Architect will not be involved in development practices.Technical Reference Architectures for different types of data:• Operational Data• Master/Reference Data strategy/platforms• Analytical DataEnterprise Data IntegrationBusiness Reference ArchitecturesResponsibilities:• Works on establishing metadata management, data catalogs, data standards, and best practices for Master Data Management.• Develops Data Governance, standards, roadmap, and architecture decisions.• Develops standards, guidelines, processes, and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards, and data integration/synchronization.• Defines data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure that the enterprise data is accurate, secure, and reliable.• Identifies areas for data quality improvement.• Engages with relevant internal parties and external vendors in best practice sharing and effective Master Data Management solution delivery.• Provides data consultation on complex projects and acts as a top-level specialist.• Ensures compliance with data architecture principles and standards for the various systems and components based on design patterns.• Leads selection of preferred data management technologies.Requirements:Deep understanding of Distributed Architectures is required. Best practices at development cycles of an Agile methodology.Hands-on experience configuring and tuning Apache Hadoop CDH (Cloudera Distribution Hadoop) or Hortonworks distribution.Good practices, proactivity, and client-facing skills.Architectural understanding of the Big Data ecosystem.Additional Information
