Clinical Research Coordinator - Fresno
Note: This is a part-time, 50% limited position with a one-year term from the hire date.The UCSF Fresno Clinical Research Coordinator will perform independently or with general direction at the fully operational journey level of the series to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols, as directed by the Clinical Research Manager and Principal Investigators (PIs). Duties may include supporting the management and coordinating tasks of clinical research studies, acting as an intermediary between services and departments, managing and reporting on study results, creating and managing databases, coordinating staff work schedules, assisting with training, managing protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, overseeing study data integrity, and participating in audits or reviews.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. UCSF Fresno is a major educational, research, and clinical branch of UCSF located in the Central San Joaquin Valley. The CRC encompasses all funded clinical trials within the Department of Medicine, including various disciplines.Required Qualifications
High School graduation and sufficient experience to perform the assigned duties.Experience with electronic medical records.Experience working with health professionals in a hospital or clinic setting.Experience working with patients in a health care setting.Experience as a clinical research coordinator or research assistant.Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.Understanding of patient population for rapport building.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Associate degree in a health-related field.Minimum three years' experience as a clinical research coordinator.SoCRA or other research professional certification.Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English).Knowledge of UCSF and departmental policies and medical terminology.Experience applying Good Clinical Practice Guidelines and HIPAA regulations.Environmental Health and Safety Training.About UCSF
