Spring Arbor of Severna Park is seeking an experienced Executive Director to serve as the licensed administrator, leading and directing overall operations. Our ideal candidate will be able to innovatively manage expense efficiencies while continuing to offer the quality of care our residents expect.

Must be 21 years of age or older and in compliance with state licensing guidelines
An active Assisted Living Administrator's license is required
Prior experience supervising a diverse workforce in a senior living community including memory care
Knowledge of effective supervisory and management practices, techniques, and methods
Knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, and county safety regulations and implementation
Basic accounting skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to establish effective working relationships with residents, co-workers, supervisors, and other individuals
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with employee relations
Ability to lead change
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead the community team to provide excellent care and service to the residents
Ensure that the community meets state regulations and requirements for resident care
Create and review the budget and maintain adherence to the same
Forecast monthly income and expenses
Effectively communicate with staff
Complete performance evaluations for team members per company schedule
Recruit, hire, counsel, and/or terminate team members when necessary
Coordinate assessments and admissions
Create a positive culture and promote high morale.
