Disney’s Addressable Account Management team is seeking a Sr. Manager, Account Management who will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, direction and management of the account management team in their execution of ad campaigns across the Disney portfolio of digital brands. They will work directly with the sales team, technology, pricing, planning and inventory at Disney Advertising Sales to ensure that the account managers have all the information they need to launch, monitor and effectively optimize digital ad campaigns. This includes the implementation of strategies introduced by Senior Management, providing guidance and education to the Sr. Ad Ops Specialists and Account Managers, overseeing and managing new hire training schedules as well as any ongoing training follow-up. The Sr. Manager will be accountable for monitoring the performance of the team, the processes used, and ensure that the team is following the established procedures, is performing consistently and is capturing and optimizing campaigns against our revenue goals all while providing excellent customer service.
Job Summary:
In this role you will report to the Director of Account Management and will work closely with the Revenue Management & Operations teams across the portfolio. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Manager is to ensure the flawless execution and delivery of campaigns against stated goals and objectives and to mitigate revenue loss on the business that they support. In this role it is important to create meaningful relationships within the organization – especially with sales. The role requires that the organization sees you as the go-to and the subject matter expert for your vertical on all things related to the Account Management role and that you can insure the highest level of service for all their campaigns.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Leading and managing the direction of the team
Handling escalations and troubleshooting of any issues
Represent the Addressable Ops org within the overall Ad Sales org
Initiating and overseeing projects that increase team’s efficiency
Developing long-term training and education strategies for the team
Work with the ad ops management to develop business rules and policies for the ops org to follow.
Is one of the day-to-day contacts with our out-sourced partners to ensure that we continue to provide white-glove service to our clients
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Minimum:
7+ years’ experience in digital ad operations at a publisher, ad tech company, ad agency or ad network
At least 3 years of management/mentorship experience with at least two years in a direct people management role
Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to digital ad operations pitch-to-pay processes and systems
Mastery of any digital ad serving tools for video and display (i.e. Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc.)
Mastery of the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with third-party ad servers such as DCM, Sizmek, Innovid, etc., as well as ad serving technologies such as VAST and VPAID
Experience with OperativeOne or other digital order management system
Can operate both tactically and strategically with the ability to lead the team to execute on organizational priorities
Preferred:
Ability to effectively work under pressure and loves to solve problems
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with and enthusiasm for an organization experiencing rapid changes
Ability to aggregate/normalize data from multiple sources and compile it into a digestible and actionable format; build executive-level dashboards
Experience with digital display and video ad formats (i.e. VAST) on all platforms web, mobile, app and OTT/CTV platforms
Familiarity with live streaming ad insertion (DAI/SSAI)
Deep understanding of measurement vendors (i.e: Nielsen, Moat) and the operational complexities of measurable inventory vs. non-measurable inventory
Is an effective manager who appreciates and understands the responsibility that comes with leadership including taking ownership and accountability for the performance of the team

The hiring range for this position is $137,200 - $183,900. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
