Job Duties:
Provides guidance, coordination, and support through the consistent application of the County’s job classification and compensation policies and practices.
Plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures that meet the County’s goals and enhance the County’s ability to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
Recommends adjustments to the County’s pay structure and staffing table by conducting regular research, market assessments, and surveys.
Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions, organizational charts, and data entry and management of Human Resources records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including three (3) years’ experience in compensation and classification work.
Senior level HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, IPMA) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
Must possess/maintain a working telephone and valid Driver's License.
Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
