General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a XR Technology Product Manager. The successful candidate will work with OEMs, strategic partners, internal business and engineering teams to drive XR technology roadmap covering all perception technologies and corresponding changes needed in core technologies such as graphics, display, AI, CV, camera etc. We are looking for a candidate with a background in XR and perception technologies. The candidate must have strong technical and analytical skills, be able to build strong relationships with multiple geographically dispersed teams, and drive planning & execution through a matrixed organization.
The individual in this role will:
Work with OEMs/ODMs, technology product managers, and XR R&D and SW teams to understand product requirements, define key IP changes needed, and drive XR Technology roadmap.
Translate market requirements into detailed product requirements that are driven back in the product definition process.
Develop external messaging on XR Technology.
Work with XR BU to create alliances to create a complete product offering from a technology perspective.
Assess competitive landscape, develop competitive analysis materials and stay up to date on technological advancement and feeding back into the roadmap to build a differentiated technology roadmap.
Interface with supply & planning teams to ensure ecosystem development to enable XR product offerings including working with display vendors to create solutions for AR products.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across engineering, program management, technology product management to ensure technology roadmap is comprehending all vectors.
Translate market dynamics into potential changes to ensure a differentiated technology roadmap and communicate this to senior leaders.
Work with technology product management and engineering leads to drive XR requirements into the technology roadmaps across all technologies touching XR products.
Work with customers and internal engineering teams on customer RFIs, RFQs, and system-level use case modelling & analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
4+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.
Pay range:
$196,000.00 - $294,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
