**Job Description:**
- This is an urgent backfill position; candidates must be ready to start once cleared.- Flexibility in shift preference is desirable; applicants open to working both day and night shifts will be preferred.- This position does not accommodate block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed.- Work involves both blended ICU responsibilities and floating to the Intermediate Care Unit as the primary RN, as well as ED holding on an as-needed basis.- The facility is a community hospital that serves as a regional referral center, certified as a Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma Center.- The unit consists of 16 beds, catering to adult and geriatric patients, with a patient ratio of 1:2.- Common cases include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.- The successful candidate must have a positive personality fit and the ability to handle a diverse range of medical conditions confidently.- Observance of the dress code is essential. Any scrub color is acceptable, but attire must be professional and suitable for the healthcare environment.
