HCA West Florida is seeking an program director in surgical critical care to assist in leading HCA Bayonet Point Hospitals GME program.Qualified Candidates:Must be board certified in Surgical C/CParentage of time as PD: 20%Hospital rotation involved that may include general surgeryNumber of fellows: 2Servicing 1 hospitalAt least 5 years of trauma and clinical care experience and a proven track record in academic and scholarly activity.Willing to combine administrative and diagnostic (teaching) responsibilitiesResponsibilities will include curriculum design, oversight of clinical activities, schedules and mentorship in academic productivity for two surgical critical care fellows per academic year.This individual will be provided adequate protected time to administer the program while having a clinical presence on the trauma and surgical critical care team as well as taking call and working as an active trauma surgical critical care physician.
