The department of Health Behavior and Society is seeking a

Research Data Analyst

at 25-50% effort to support a new, 4-year project. This work, funded via the National Institutes of Health Tobacco Regulatory Science Program, an interagency partnership between FDA and NIH to foster tobacco regulatory research, seeks to understand the impact of messaging about the tobacco product continuum of harm.

The

Research Data Analyst

will work with Dr. Meghan Moran and a team at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the University of Pennsylvania to develop and implement the administrative and research activities for this project. We are a supportive team who are excited to welcome a new highly organized and detail-oriented Research Data Analyst!

Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesData organization.Data cleaning and management.Facilitation of data sharing.Data analysis including descriptive and multivariable analyses.Translation of results to visual formats.

Special Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExcellent communication skills.Excellent record-keeping (i.e., to facilitate replicability).Detail-oriented.Creative.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline. Related Master's preferred.Five years related experience.Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree.Proficiency with Stata.Experience conducting longitudinal analysis.Familiarity with discrete choice experiments.Familiarity with neuroimaging and eye-tracking data.
