Quality Inspector

**Job Title: Quality Inspector****Job Description**Seeking a quality inspector to work as a production inspector of airfoils. You will be responsible for complex visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and CMM to inspect airfoils. You will also work from purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other specifications to ensure that all parts and materials are in full compliance.**Hard Skills**+ Understanding of GD&T+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints+ Ability to perform complex visual and dimensional inspection+ Experience with first article, first piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspection+ Ability to run CMM machine to inspect various aerospace parts**Job Type**This is a permanent position.**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Connecticut.**Work Environment**Jarvis Airfoil is a manufacturing company producing airfoils for the aerospace industry. There are currently 80 people working onsite, with 95% of them on the manufacturing floor. You will work closely with machinists, engineers, and outside vendors, supporting the manufacturing operations. This is a critical role to correctly inspect final parts to be sent out for delivery.
