JHU Whiting School of Engineering is seeking a
Laboratory Technician
to assist with ordering, inventory management, building of electrodes and implantable device prototypes in the Cybernetic Implantable Devices Lab.
Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintaining inventory.Resupplying inventory when stocks run low.Performing routine lab maintenance and operations.
Special Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility to communicate and collaborate using a variety of meeting tools (i.e., Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel).
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or graduation equivalent with some science coursework.Experience in basic laboratory procedures required.
Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree in Science.
Certificate from technical institute or internship experience preferred.Training Certificate from Technical Institute preferred.
