OverviewTo research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends. Assist with troubleshooting of complex technical issues causing business impact or service degradation. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, operating and troubleshooting daily remote access technologies.Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop systemAccountable for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systemsDocument new system components, or modifications to existing componentsPerform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needsPerform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systemsPresent clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisionsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsSignificant Citrix virtual applications and desktop experience. (Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies)Significant Experience with Netscaler / networking experience (Netscaler policies)Significant Experience with VMwareSignificant Experience with ServiceNow request, incident, change, and asset management modulesExperience with PowerShellExperience with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query authoringExperience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration ManagerExperience with Group Policy Administration using GPOAdmin or equivalentComprehensive knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11Willingness to be a self-starter and eagerness to learn new technologiesBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceExpert database and presentation software skillsExpert organizational, planning and time management skillsExpert research, analytical, and problem solving skillsExpert skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsExpert verbal and written communication skillsExpert word processing and spreadsheet software skillsDesired QualificationsCitrix Certified Associate (CCA)
