Position: Financial Reporting Associate
Department: Finance
Reporting to: Financial Reporting Accountant and Assistant Controller (management depends on area of focus)
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite
Overview:

The Financial Reporting Associate will assist with the preparation of periodic financial statements required for internal and external reporting. This role will support the collection and entry of financial data, supporting the Financial Reporters and Management in ensuring all reporting is in compliance with GAAP reporting regulations and guidelines. What you'll do:
Prepare and enter general journal entries.
Prepare Account Reconciliations for entities as assigned.
Prepare intercompany billings and allocations.
Code and Review Expense and Credit Card Transactions.
Prepare various import files ensuring efficient and accurate entry to GL.
Treasury Transactions, including paying vendors through ACH and Wires.
Assist with Financial Analysis for entities as assigned.
Assist with entering budget information in systems.
Assist with external audit.
Assist with various Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis.
Additional duties as assigned.
Experience you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word)
Strong organization skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to act independently, problem solve, and manage priorities effectively
Excellent time management and organizational skills and attention to detail
Team player able to maintain focus on the overall success of Advisors Excel as the top priority
High energy, positive attitude and solid work ethic
Professional approach and appearance
