The Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology is seeking a part-time

Research Assistant

to work under the direction of the Principal Investigators (PI) and Research Program Manager and assist in data analysis at the Hopkins Lupus Center. The Center is focused on nephritis, the development of biomarkers and study of pathogenic mechanisms of lupus nephritis. The research studies involve the joint analysis of multiplexed imaging of 100+ kidney biopsies, urine proteomics, single cell RNA sequencing, and other technologies.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of the study protocol.Perform bioinformatic analyses and develop analytical pipelines using R, Python, or Matlab.Maintain a clear repository of the code employed for analysis which is shared with the team members on OneDrive.Assist in the development of tables and figures for reports and manuscripts.Perform literature reviews.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Bioinformatic skills and previous experience with coding.Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
