Job Description :
We are seeking a Frontend Developer to support development and maintenance programs. The role involves working with project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to create and maintain reusable, accessible, performant, scalable, and robust UI components. Familiarity with WCAG 2.1, ADA compliance, and responsive design is required. The position involves accessibility testing using Jaws reader and browser plugins.
Responsibilities :•Collaborate with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to develop reusable and accessible UI components.•Ensure all UI components meet performance, scalability, and robustness standards.•Conduct thorough accessibility testing using Jaws reader and multiple browser plugins.•Adhere to WCAG 2.1, ADA compliance, and responsive design principles.•Work within an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills:• React.js : 5+ years of experience.• HTML5 and CSS Frameworks : 5+ years of experience.• ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance, and UX design principles : 5+ years of experience.• Java : 3+ years of experience, including IDE tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio.• JPA Framework : 2+ years of experience.• Spring Framework : 2+ years of experience.• Spring Boot and Spring Data : 2+ years of experience.• Java 8+ : 3+ years of experience.• Agile Development : 2+ years of experience.• JBoss Enterprise Environment : 2+ years (desired).
