Quality Assurance Tester
Key Role:Work in tandem with multiple Enterprise Technology Services and Solutions (ETSS) teams to deploy internal-use applications, products, and services. Participate in the software development life cycle, including sprint planning and review meetings, design test scenarios and test cases, and defect management. Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret system component tests and test plans. Identify and prevent defects and work with developers and engineers to correct any defects found. Support maintenance releases for multiple ETSS applications. Ensure that the software systems and components are successfully integrated, tested, and deployed.Support the integration and end-to-end testing of software components in a collaborative environment with customers and team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications:6+ years of experience with software quality assurance and quality control testing, including requirements traceability, creation of test cases, automated test scripts, and end-of-test reportsExperience using Atlassian Jira for test cases and defect managementExperience with functional, backend, automation, end-to-end, usability testing, and data validation with web applicationsKnowledge of user requirements and expectationsKnowledge of Power Automate Platform and UI PathKnowledge of open-source automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Katalon StudioKnowledge of testing frameworks, including JUnit or TestNGAbility to assess UI/UX design components and perform usability testingBachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:Experience testing Costpoint, Ivalua, and other financial applicationsExperience with Test ManagementExperience with SQL and OracleExperience in backend and data validation testingKnowledge of programming languages, including Java or RubyPossession of strong written and verbal communication skillsCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
