Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform preclinical research and development under the review of a principial investigator for the technology development and implementation for the preclinical cancer research.Prepare biological in vitro and in vivo samples for irradiation, imaging, and histopathological assessment.Coordinate with technical and administrative resources in the experimental cores and other collaborative labs for the conduction of the research projects.Assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.Present research projects at meetings and conferences.Perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.Assist with tasks on other research projects as required.Maintain laboratory equipment.Assist students and trainees to work safely in the lab.

Special Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent written and oral skills.Ability to communicate effectively.Strong organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills.Work independently and work well with others.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred QualificationsApplicants who have MS or PhD with two-year experience in preclinical research.Some related experience for preclinical research such as small animal handling and cell culture preparation.
