What you'll do:As part of the Arlington Eye Center team, you'll practice in a high-end boutique clinic, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions. You'll perform eye exams and surgical co-management, diagnose and assist in treating ocular diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, dispense prescriptions, handle eye emergencies, and promote healthy vision through patient education. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, and highly trained staff will support you throughout patient encounters.
This position offers part-time employment for 16 hours a week, with workdays on Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm.
A typical day involves seeing 15 to 18 patients.

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
