About Arvada Optometric CenterArvada Optometric Center is a well-established, family-owned, and operated private practice located conveniently ten minutes outside Denver. Serving Jefferson and Adams counties, the practice cares for all ages ranging from pediatric to geriatrics, offering comprehensive eye exams, fittings for specialty contact lenses, an extensive optical department, diagnosis of eye diseases, keratoconus treatment, and LASIK co-management. The practice is centrally located, easily accessible from major highways. To maintain its legacy of offering high-quality eye care and eyewear, Arvada Optometric Center is looking to add a part-time and full-time Optometrist to the highly skilled team.
Ensuring a lifetime of clear vision is essential for Arvada Optometric Center, and the practice utilizes advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and eye care products. With a recently remodeled office, the clinic is well-appointed with diagnostic technology, including topography, autorefraction, Optomap, Lipiscan/Lipiflow, Icare, OCT, and Humphrey Visual Field. In addition, patients enjoy visiting a modern eyewear boutique and a personalized eyeglass fitting from expert Opticians who provide options to suit patients' vision needs and fashion preferences.
About the Optometrist PositionArvada Optometric Center is seeking a part-time and full-time Optometrist passionate about patient care, willingness to learn, and eagerness to grow as a practitioner and team member. You'll perform comprehensive and medical eye exams for a large patient base and handle a daily patient load of 15 to 20 patients. You'll also educate patients about their ocular health, give proper recommendations for corrective lenses and individualized vision solutions, and triage when deemed necessary. The practice is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in effectively managing and triaging ocular diseases. Additionally, you must be able to prescribe appropriate medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses and keep updated and accurate medical records. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals, care for a variety of patients and special populations, and grow with a solid private practice.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an excellent clinical skillset, a desire for continued learning, the ability to grasp new technologies with ease, and a passion for helping those in need.
