The Private Client Tax Senior Associate serves as a trusted advisor and member of various client service teams and must possess significant knowledge of taxation compliance and consulting related to personal, partnership, trust, estate, gift, wealth retention strategies as well as charitable entities managed by ultra-high net worth clients. They will also participate in client development and team management and conduct research to be current as a subject matter expert.How you will contribute:Providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundationsDeveloping, building, and managing client relationships as part of the proposal processParticipating in networking activities to further expand business opportunities and client relationshipsAs a highly impactful team member, maintaining functional expertise and understanding of a client's business or family structure is essential to addressing client concerns and challengesAssisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffReviewing and managing projects prepared by tax associates and seniorsEffectively delegating responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teamsProficiently using technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technologySuccessfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and clearly communicating those findings in writingWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Dedication to client serviceExcellent supervisory and time management skillsExhibit effective communication and listening skills enhancing problem-solving and communication for client, team, and operational performanceBuilt a community of external advisors with which to networkMinimum Qualifications:3-5 years or more of related experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust departmentBachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCPA license or J.D. degree and bar admissionExperience managing multiple client engagements
