LifeScape has openings for a Full-Time RN's & LPN's that provides professional health care for children with disabilities.Our unique residential environment for children affected by a disability is one of only a couple in the whole state! We put a primary focus on living the LifeScape Mission of empowering people to live their best life! We do this by having a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to provide the appropriate healthcare and support needed. All of our valued employees are of great importance, and each play a very unique role in the support we give. Our RN's & LPN's are a key asset to providing the very important healthcare needed for these children that live within our residential facility.Join our Team!The positions that we have open are responsible to assess the health status and wellbeing of children supported within our LifeScape Children's Residential facility. Primary job duties for this role would require you to analyze clinical information by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating conditions.Other tasks Nurses complete include, but are not limited to, the following:Provides respiratory care/supportInterprets lab values and dataDocuments medical records electronicallyEducates/teaches staff, families, patients, students, and persons supportedPromotes health and safetyProvides guidance to Direct Care staffCompletes a variety of other exciting tasksGreat features for our Nursing staff at LifeScape include:Make your own schedule and only work every third weekend and holiday (Yes, you read that right...only every THIRD Weekend)Competitive PayFull benefits Package for employees working 30 or more hours per weekVacation time for scheduled employees working 20 or more house per weekBest of all...Live the LifeScape Mission daily...Empowering people to live their best life!RequirementsRegistered Nurse: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.Valid South Dakota RN Licensure required.Prior nursing or direct care experience preferred.Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.Valid South Dakota LPN Licensure required.Prior nursing and direct care experience preferred.
