FreeStock Purchase Plan10 Paid HolidaysVacation Accrual Based on Years of ServiceTuition ReimbursementSafety Shoe AllowancePrescription Safety GlassesJOB TITLE:MAINTENANCE MECHANICPOSITION OVERVIEW:This is an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position that performs general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and other building systems.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Installs, levels, aligns, assembles, transports, erects, dismantles, loads, and unloads various machines, buildings, structures, vehicles, and equipmentInspects, and troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairsPlans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manuals as neededPerforms general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, doors, and office furniture and paintingPerforms routine maintenance on building systemsMakes sketches and test runs new and repaired machinery before turning over to operating department.

Lubricates equipment and performs preventative maintenanceMakes concrete forms, pours, and finishes as requiredPerforms miscellaneous piping work such as fitting, bending installing and welding air, water, hydraulic, gas, oil, and steam linesRepairs air conditioning and heating systemsBurns, brazes, solders, welds, and fabricates as requiredKeeps own work area and equipment clean and orderlyOrders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenanceMaintains necessary recordsPerforms other related duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:Trade School and/or industrial maintenance apprenticeship(3) Three or more years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior experience with MIG Welding, ARC Welding and Plasma CuttingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.The team member is frequently required to climb or balance and talk or hear.The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.WORKING CONDITIONS:Generally, works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office settingWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular trafficThe team member may be exposed to a wide range of temperaturesThe noise level is frequently loud*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
