DescriptionThe Public Sector Sales team in AWS is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the VP of US Federal Sales. The Executive Assistant will act as an extension of the leader, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the AWS Public Sector and across the rest of the company.As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as allhands meetings and employee engagement activities). Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating meeting agendas, space planning, and ad hoc project coordination. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. In this role, youll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community.Key job responsibilitiesProactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendarsManagement of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholdersExtensive travel coordination (international and domestic)Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficienciesTracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables across programmatic mechanismsA day in the lifeWorking in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams.
