Pay: $18 - $20/ hourChildren's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team in providing top-notch orthodontic care to our patients.The scheduling coordinator plays a crucial role in Children's Dental Health practices. This position is primarily responsible for serving as an advocate and educator in creating treatment plans for orthodontic care and preparing/presenting financial arrangements. Springfield , PA 19064; As neededResponsibilities:Conduct a consultation to understand a patients oral health history, objectives, and concernsAccurately chart all examination findings on behalf of the DoctorWork with the Doctor to diagnose and prepare treatment plans. Present treatment fees and discuss financial arrangements with patientsContact patients/parents to schedule treatment and/or discuss payment options for Medicaid approvals/denials, private insurance patients, and self-pay patientsNotify patients of co-payments and co-payment requirements upon schedulingConduct treatment consultations with existing patients when new treatment plans are presentedConsistently and effectively follow-through with patient scheduling and appointments to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately and payment agreements are filled out correctlyAssist clinical team, when available, by cleaning chairs, doing sterilization, seating patients, starting records or braces appointmentsQualifications:
At least 1-2 years of experience working in an Orthodontic setting preffered - familiarity with the treatment process a mustExperience discussing treatment plans and financial matters with familiesFamiliarity with Dolphin is a plusExperience working with various medical/dental insurance plans is a plusX-ray certification preferredWhat We OfferWe believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
