Job Description:

DOJ's Unix Services team provides a Platform as Service (PaaS) hosting environment for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and some AIX, customers. RHEL VMWare virtual and physical Linux systems run in the Cloud (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or IBM Softlayer) and in DOJ-supported data centers. This position requires a Top Secret national security clearance and reports 3 to 4 days weekly to a client location in Merrifield, VA or an alternate site in Washington, DC (NOMA).

Create and maintain detailed documentation of all platform service processes and procedures.Build, configure, upgrade, and maintain a secure RHEL server infrastructure.Conduct system monitoring, patching, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate on disaster recovery planning and execution to meet customer requirements.Support migrations to managed services and assist in deploying new tools.What We're Looking For:
