When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Architect to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the Intelligence Communitys first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. As a Cloud Architect, you will advise Government IT teams on the design and build of single- or multi-cloud computing architecture solutions that meet mission requirements, and develop future technology and architectural advancements to support the Governments architectural strategy, cloud migration, and continued evolution.Advising senior business and technical personnel to aid in the delivery of robust, scalable cloud architectures that meet or exceed mission requirementsServing as a cloud agnostic advocate and helping to educate the Government customer on cloud services appropriate to meet mission requirementsProviding advisory services to maintain and evolve the future-state service provider-authorized, multi-cloud architecture, and knowledge database based on ever-changing IC mission needs and ensuring optimization of cost, consumption, and performance of services are achieved across all Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)Developing a baseline multi-cloud architecture methodology and framework for implementation within the C2E multi-cloud ecosystemSupporting the development and maintenance of data models, data dictionaries, data maps, and other architecture artifacts across the enterpriseDesigning all cloud solutions in alignment with applicable policies, standards, and practicesProviding creative and innovative architectural solutions to ill-defined requirementsReviewing and accessing impact of proposed scope changes to future architecturesMay be required to provide cloud agnostic technical guidance in the formulation of customer multi-cloud work statements

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:Required:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelors degreeFive ( 5 ) or more years of experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environmentFive ( 5 ) or more years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following activities:IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services (e.g., compute, storage, network, security, administration, automation, application services, and databases)Designing and deploying cloud solutions to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and information systems implementationDemonstrated knowledge and expertise in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data standards, and metadata management best practicesAbility to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and support data repositoriesStrong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team, as well as the CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, and Oracle)Certifications in any of the following CSPs: Azure, OCI, GCP, IBM and AWSDesired:Strong analysis and quality assessment skillsExperience with successful full life cycle cloud development projectsExperience with various Linux and Microsoft Windows OSs distributionsExperience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and databasesExperience migrating both custom built and enterprise apps to and from on-prem to cloudExperience debugging performance and technical issuesExperience building and deploying systems in the cloud using continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks and infrastructure automationAbility to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
