About the Role:
You will be part of Monetization Data Science and Engineering team as a BIE contractor focused on delivering end-to-end data engineering and business reporting projects for various stakeholders internal to Twitch and Amazon. The contractor will report to the Director of Data Science.
You Will:Work closely with the Data Scientists, Engineers, and Data Engineers on developing BI/analytics solutions to measure the performance of new and existing solutions (including ML models) and surface new opportunities for improvements.Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues and own ad-hoc deep dive investigations into existing customer journeys to identify root causes of issues and surface improvement opportunities.Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data pipelines, metrics, reports, visualizations, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive business decisions.Collaborate with other stakeholders to optimize and adopt applications within the AWS ecosystem.In this role, the BIE will be responsible for migrating dashboards to new visualization tools, conducting thorough testing, deploying the new tools, and training users on the updated visualization platform.You Have:
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with building and maintain prod-level data artifacts (e.g. ETL, data models, queries)Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed, cost, reliability)Bonus Points
Experience with prod-level Tableau reportingExperience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
