Growing together.We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Hours: Ability to cover shifts Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm PST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm PST when there are call outs or PTO scheduledLocation Address: Home site will be 2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, but you will need to help cover PTO/absences at 4444 Calle Real Suite P1, Santa Barbara, CA 93110Primary Responsibilities:Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes wholesaler medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsMake outgoing calls to coordinate deliveries/obtain clarification from patients to provide high quality serviceOther duties as assignedYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of CaliforniaAccess to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's licenseAbility to work in both locations as needed:2178 Johnson Ave, Suite P1, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 and 4444 Calle Real Suite P1, Santa Barbara, CA 93110Preferred Qualifications:National Pharmacy Technician Certification1+ years Pharmacy and prescription data entry experienceBilingual in Spanish and English1+ years of customer service experienceCalifornia Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
