We’re seeking an exceptional Principal Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic Web Platform team.Position Overview

As a key contributor to the Web Platform team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and solutions. You would use the latest technologies to build, design, develop, deploy, and scale our micro front-end infrastructure and services and lead the way to keep us using top-notch tools and paradigms. If you’re passionate about taking the lead, engaging in innovative ideas and technologies, and creating lasting impacts, this is your role.Responsibilities

Initiate and lead strategic initiatives, driving innovation and excellenceDevelop, maintain, and innovate building micro frontend frameworks used by various teams worldwideBuilding and maintaining complex design system components in ReactTake ownership of the entire frontend stack, from architecture to implementation, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with the cross-functional team stakeholders, including design, backend engineering, product management, and engineers from other teams, driving cross-discipline robust solutionsMinimum Qualifications

7+ years of proven experience in frontend development, with a track record of delivering high-quality, complex web applications5+ years of experience in React.jsDemonstrated ability to initiate and lead initiatives, driving projects from concept to successful executionStrong ownership mentality with a deep understanding of front-end technologies, frameworks, and architectureExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to architect and implement elegant solutions to complex challengesPreferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of micro-frontends architecture, including best practices for implementing and managing micro-frontends framework with webpack’s module federationExtensive experience with webpack configuration and optimization, including module federation, code splitting, tree shaking, and dynamic imports to improve application performanceProficiency in building and maintaining smart and container components in React, ensuring efficient state management and reusable UI logicExperience with building and maintaining dev tools such as testing, control systems and monitoring toolsLearn MoreAbout Autodesk
