Required Skills:Test Analyst Experience:
A minimum of
seven (7) years of experience
as a Test Analyst with large organizations, leading or participating in the technical implementation of software, systems, or applications that automate complex business processes.
Business Analysis & Testing Expertise:
Proven experience in assessing scope and tasks related to business analysis.Planning and executing business analysis tasks.Eliciting, defining, and documenting business, user, and system requirements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business subject matter experts, architects, developers, and testers.Preparing test plans, test cases, and documenting test results.Performing regression testing and updating test plans for periodic maintenance releases.
Deliverables Production:
At least seven (7) years of experience in producing the following deliverables:
Business requirements and rules.Functional and non-functional requirements.Stakeholder requests.Test strategies, plans, and cases.Transition plans.Traceability matrices.
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Tools:
At least three (3) years of experience using
Test Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
such as
HP ALM, Rational Requisite Pro , or Jama to document requirements, design specifications, test cases, defects, and ensuring full traceability for projects.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Government Agency Experience:
Experience as a Test Analyst at a State or Federal agency.
Pension/Retirement Software Implementation:
Experience leading or participating in software development projects related to pension or retirement systems.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
