Business Intelligence Developer
to work in our
Fairfax, VA office/Remotely.
The successful candidate will perform the following:
Support corporate customers with the creation and management of business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into knowledgePossess an outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business and technology stakeholdersDesign and develop dashboards to provide KPIs, visualizations, and reporting that meets the business needs of stakeholdersPartner with stakeholders to translate customers' requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reportsExceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings to senior and executive level leadershipTranslate information and data from multiple sources in support of value-added narratives for senior-level and operations level consumptionProvide reports that follow structured reporting development procedures that ensure accuracy and security of sensitive dataEnsure change control procedures and processes are followed in accordance with corporate policiesUndertake regular reviews to ensure report accuracy and run time efficienciesAbility to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast paced, dynamic environmentAd hoc requests as needed3+ years developing reports with one of the following tools ( Cognos , Power BI, Oracle Analytics, Tableau)Ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyGeneral knowledge of
Costpoint
processesExperience with Costpoint Data sets and relationshipsUnderstanding of the underlying Costpoint and T&E databasesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and as a teamStrong understanding of SQLUnderstanding of accounting and finance concepts and process workflowsAnalyze BI requirements and design/develop Reporting solutions to support standard reporting, Dashboard and self-service environment
