Overview
Job PurposeThe Velocify team within ICE Mortgage Technology is hiring a Senior UI Developer to help Velocify automate everything that is automatable in the home loan approval process. The Velocify team specifically creates web-based software to manage leads for loan officers allowing them to prioritize, distribute, and work the leads through their organization's workflow.As a Senior UI Developer supporting the Prospect Engagement vertical of Velocify, you will apply your knowledge of design & development to help your team deliver features to our customers and work with cutting edge UI and UX technologies. You will be responsible to write clean, efficient and bug free code. You will also play a critical part supporting upcoming tech initiatives and customer defects.ResponsibilitiesWorking on Micro-Frontend based applications.Improving the application performance with using best practices.Writing the code in AngularJS/ReactJS with custom code/existing components library.Working collaboratively to write the quality code and meeting delivery targets.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience4 - 6+ years of experience working on UI projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript2+ years of experience developing UI screens that consume Rest APIsDemonstrated understanding of API calls and parsing results returned by APIs3+ years of experience working with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworksCoding expertise using core JavaScriptStrong understanding of Web ProgrammingKnowledge of Jira, Git, JenkinsFamiliarity working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) leveraging Agile principlesWriting Unit and Integration test case using frameworks like JestExcellent analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skillsHands on experience with performance improvements when loading web pages and calling API'sPreferredKnowledge of design frameworkHow the JavaScript engine worksWorking experience with Angular, Vue frameworksAWS EC2, S3 bucketsFamiliarity with Salesforce front end developmentScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
