The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is a high performing leader, problem solver, and innovator who challenges the status quo and drives innovation. In this role you will analyze complex business problems to be solved with re-engineered processes and automated technology solutions. You will provide consultation to end users and lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
What You'll Do
You Must Have the Following to be Successful in this Role:Strong functional and technology background in following platforms - SAP ERP systems (ECC and S/4, preferably), esp. Advanced Variant Configuration, Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and custom home-grown applications.Deep functional and fundamental knowledge of Lead/Opportunity management, Customer & Sales Collaboration, Demand Configuration & Management, BOM Management, Production Planning & Sequencing, Materials Management, Production Order Execution, Inventory Management, Customer Risk Management & AnalyticsRequired Qualifications
Works closely with Lam Global Operations (GOPs) teams to understand and support their operational needs to determine the best technology solutionReadily see the overall business picture and deal with undefined situations holisticallyProvide analysis and deep insights to business needs and challenge and enable the best fit and technology solutionDeep understanding of interaction and dependencies and alignment of different corporate initiatives, business unit, and IT strategiesArchitect and design business processes and systems solutions in support of business objectivesServe as a BSA in various projects and initiatives covering all phases of the project from inception through post-mortemAble to put on multiple hats: Business Analyst, Data Analyst, System Analyst and communicate effectively to a diverse audience, including leadership, to articulate complex planning scenarios, trade-offs, and its impact to Lam OperationsAbility to run meetings and forums to drive technology and business strategy, solutions and executionTracking and driving tasks to closure and escalate as requiredGrow into a position of Lead Business Systems AnalystExperience in managing and working with Managed Services support consultantsExperienced in working with globally spread teams and stakeholdersWho We're Looking For
Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience writing software requirements and test specificationsAbility to understand business functionality and translate into business use casesStrong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and system architecture standardsExperience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, and ability to deliver on responsibilities during various project phases including:
Planning (Blueprint and Spec)Designing (Technical Spec and prototyping)Test Plans (Unit Testing and User acceptance testing)Training/Documentation (Roll-out)Cut-over Project Closure (Post-Mortem)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent work experience7+ years overall SAP experience with 3+ years of experience with MM, PP, SD (VC)Demonstrated expertise across multiple enterprise systems include SAP, Microsoft, Security, and No code platformsPlans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to deploy capabilitiesHave led in at least one end-to-end project, that included: Analysis, design, configuration, development build, test, and deployment, including training and data conversionStrong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently or with limited directionPreferred Qualifications
SAP S/4 is a plus since we will be transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4 in the coming years.WFE or discrete manufacturing industry experience with ETO/CTO/MTO business model in high-volume manufacturing.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
