CERTIFICATIONS:

DOD 8570 IAT-II certification (SEC+ CE or equivalent) - required certification

Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) certification

SHIFT:

100% Full time onsite, Pentagon, Arlington, VA

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary duties will be the maintenance and repair of the equipment, circuits supporting the DRSN at the client site.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidate must be have a TS/SCI security clearance at the start of the work.

Must be able to work rotating shift schedules and/or standby, if required, to provide 24/7 365 coverage.

Must have excellent communications skills

Successful completion of technical training associated with operations and maintenance of the DRSN DSS-2A switch.

Must be familiar with various encryption devices, e.g. KIV-7, including device substitution, key and re-keying. Must be familiar withperforming BERT tests and with test equipment supporting the troubleshooting and maintenance of DISA and DRSN Circuits.

Must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of all ancillary devices, e.g., ISTs, ECCs, CEUs, MDAs, UMUXs.

Experience with operating records such as circuit history folders, master station logs, trouble tickets (Remedy), outage and restoration records, and DISA reports is highly desirable.

Possession of a DRSN certification is preferred.

Experience with handling, disposing, transferring and managing COMSEC.

Knowledge of or experience in DRSN installations and installation practices
