Job Description:Position: WebSphere AdministratorLocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid from day 1)Key area:Strong expertise in WebSphere Application Server ND (Version 8.5.5.24 or 9.0.5.16) & IBM HTTP Server (Version 8.5.5.24 or 9.0.5.16), with good troubleshooting skills.
This is a Build & Release role (Environment builds, Configurations, Deployments) .WebLogic, OHS (Oracle Http Server), Site Minder & AppDynamics, Tomcat, Apache & Nginix as a secondary skill.Unix Shell scripting & Cloud Technologies like OpenShift etc will be added advantage.Knowledge/Experience:This position requires a minimum of 7+ years on web middleware and in-depth knowledge of industry-standard web middleware technologies.Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions (e.g., Java/J2EE, Weblogic, .Net, Tuxedo, Websphere, Tomcat, Apache, IIS).Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel operating systemsStrong background on the Unix with scripting (Unix Shell, perl, phyton,)Strong knowledge of security and Risk Configuration.Experience on Cloud Technology support is a plusSkills:Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions (e.g. Java/J2EE, Weblogic, .Net, Web Logic, MQ, Websphere, SUN One Web, IIS, Siteminder, LDAP, security).Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel, Aix operating systemsStrong background on the Unix with scripting (ssh, Shell, perl) with various platforms.Qualifications:Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience
