All the while, we'll provide you with opportunities to keep advancing your career.A caregiver in this position works 7:00am"3:30pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Perform housekeeping duties in patient and public areas to ensure a clean, attractive and safe environment. Areas include patient rooms, utility rooms, nurse stations, isolation rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, exam rooms and offices.Empty, clean and reline waste baskets.Perform daily cleaning, high/low dusting, mopping, sweeping, spot cleaning, polishing and vacuuming.Wipe tabletops, phones, TV cords, and doorknobs.Replenish room supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers and hand soap.Transport trash from utility rooms and collection spots to pick up points.Assist in cleaning emergency situations that are observed or requested.Maintain arrangement of furniture in patient rooms, offices and lounges.Understand the proper use of chemicals, dilution, usage and measuring.Participate in and attend all in-services, become familiar with the employee handbook and understand policies and procedures.Accept and carry out assignments, provide coverage for laundry caregivers and perform other tasks as assigned.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:A high school diploma or GED.Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
