The Job

Responsible for generating reports and insights to support SCAN's business and operational needs. The role is critical in providing insights to help understand future changes or needs by SCAN's members and providers. The talent we're seeking is someone quick to learn the business functions assigned to them and become a trusted analytics partner. Experience in SQL, managing projects from end-to-end, and working with leadership team is required.

You Will

Utilize SQL to develop complex queries in support of report objects.Leverage clinical, quality, operations, finance (or other data information) to develop, test and deploy reports to non-production environments.Analyze, design and develop report mock-ups and prototypes that promote refinement of final requirements.Design/construct the report presentation layer to appropriately frame information and ensure intuitive use by consumers (tabular, visualizations, dashboards, etc.).Leverage reporting platform features and capabilities to create effective deliverables.Adhere to established templates, development standards and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Interact with report consumers and other stakeholders to develop and propose appropriate report solutions.Lead and/or participate in business analysis activities to gather report requirements and sign-off from business stakeholders.Develop and maintain technical specifications and end-user documentation for assigned projects and analyses.Meet deadlines and maintain standards of accuracy and customer service.Mentor and/or provide guidance to other report analysts in the organization on practices and technology.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.Other duties as assigned.Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred2+ years developing complex reports is required.Experience diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports is required.Experience developing reports against complex data sets is required.Experience with healthcare data preferred.Healthcare / Managed Care industry reporting and analysis experience including analyzing healthcare claims data and / or pharmacy data ideal, but not required.MS-SQL development, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, SQL Server, SSRS preferred, SSIS preferred, Tableau preferred, Alteryx preferred, Power BI preferred, Snowflake preferred.Strong logical and analytical skills.Ability to define systemic requirements for reports to ensure maintainability and perform acceptance testing.Ability to define monitoring requirements and implement protocols for handling subscriptions.Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision making, planning, time management, presentation and organization skills.Experience interacting with customers to define requirements and develop workable solutions.Ability to work independently and collaborative in team-based support environment.What's in it for you?
