Position Summary
Support the Risk Management team with data science efforts, including data processing and data engineering as well as data analysis.
Primary ResponsibilitiesCode development in python and prototyping of PDF report generationCommunicate findings and insights in presentations, dashboards, and infographicsEnrich existing data sets with new dataWork with postgres and geospatital libraries in R and pythonWork in Azure and Snowflake ecosystemsCandidate Background and Qualifications
Excellent programming skills in Python, R and SQLStrong knowledge in statisticsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyGood organizational skills; time managementAble to work independently, but also team-orientedFamiliarity with and/or interest in financial analysis
The salary for the position is expected to be from $28 per hour to $32 per hour. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast and lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.
Note: A housing stipend may be available for interns who live outside of the New York metropolitan area and move to the New York metropolitan area for the internship, subject to certain conditions.
