Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM-7:00 AMHourly Rate: $21.09 an hourWhy Conagra Brands Council Bluffs:$21.09 per hour + .70 per hour attendance bonus+ Overtime Eligibility+ Excellent benefit package+ Up to 10 paid Holidays per year+ 401K and vacation+ Company Store**Job Summary** :The Buffer Forklift Operator ensures that our finished product is moved within our warehouse. Forklift responsibilities include driving a forklift in a freezer warehouse, ensuring safety of equipment being used, transporting finished product in the warehouse, pulling finished product for loading of trailers, preparing trailers for loading, and loading trailers following proper procedure. Ensuring facility maintenance through good housekeeping practices. Forklift operators report to the Warehouse Team Leader. You'll work on-site at the Council Bluffs location.You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a Forklift driver, you will report to the operations team.**Essential Job Functions:**+ Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position.+ Read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English.+ Operate forklifts including stand-up, sit-down, hi-lift, and tandems.+ Work in a cold environment for long periods of time+ Move up to 75 lbs.+ Basic math skills+ Basic knowledge of computers**Job Responsibilities:**+ Perform required safety check of equipment before use.+ Move finished product from blast freezer to finished product warehouse.+ Scan finished product into rack location using warehouse management system.+ Transport finished product from racks according to work orders and place in staging area.+ Prepare to load trailer by opening dock doors, setting dock plates, inspecting trailer, checking trailer temperatures, verifying load plan, and chocking tires.+ Load trailer according to load plan**Skills Required:**+ Knowledge of forklift safety and troubleshooting.+ Knowledge of proper forklift loading procedures.+ Understand the effects of product damage..+ Prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.+ As well as with others as a team at all levels.+ Knowledge of GMP's.+ Be PIT Certified.**Qualifications:**Education: High school diploma or GED.Experience: 6 months forklift preferred.Anticipated Close Date: November 8, 2024Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa**Our Benefits:**We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:+ Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insurance+ Wealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase plan+ Growth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaboration+ Balance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunities**Our Company:**Conagra Brands is one of North America's leading branded food companies.
