Computer Systems Analyst
to support the government in the development and application of high-assurance computer security systems hardware and software. This contingent position, expected to start late spring or early summer 2025, will support provide support on-site in the National Capital Region, from ARA facilities, and via telecommuting when approved.The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Department of Defense information assurance (IA) systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis OR high school diploma and 10+ years of directly relevant experience in computer systemsDoD SECRET clearanceMust be a US CitizenAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExperience with object-oriented software specification languages, procedures, and practices and their application towards high assurance systems and productsExperience documenting standard development and engineering processes, such as operational process guides, application deployment guides, user manuals, developer onboarding guides, and training documentsExperience in the documentation of workflows and source code for high assurance applications and solutionsExperience in one or more of the development languages; C, C++, Java, Python, Linux Scripting, PowerShell, Ruby, PHP, VBS, SQL, or AssemblyExperience in the configuration and administration of networked UNIX, LINUX, Macintosh, and Windows workstationsExtensive experience with Ansible, including proficiency creating and using Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Modules to automate IT tasks, configure infrastructure, and manage applicationsDesired Qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline and three (3) or more years of relevant experience orPhD in computer science or related disciplineInformation Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) certificationExperience in the analysis of unknown binary program behavior using static and dynamic techniquesExperience in two or more of the following development languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Linux Scripting, PowerShell, Ruby, PHP, VBS, SQL or AssemblyExperience in the use and application of security analysis and assessment tools and techniques or the application and use modeling and simulation tools towards high assurance systems and productsDemonstrated experience with SCRUM methodology for agile software development, including planning and facilitating sprints, leading daily stand-up meetings, and conducting sprint reviews and retrospectivesExperience with a range of test automation tools and frameworks, including Jenkins, Robot framework, and GitLab CI/CD.Proficient in designing and implementing automated software tests, managing test data, and integrating testing into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience administering Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including proficiency deploying and managing AAP instances, configuring authentication and authorization settings, and creating and managing inventories, job templates, and workflowsExperience operating and maintaining enterprise research and development networks and high-assurance computer systems and network environments
