The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Area Manager, you will move trailers to support our Inbound and Outbound operations in the yard observing the established daily schedule. You will transport trailers to support our Inbound and Outbound operationMove trailers to the warehouse doors and in the yard following the established daily scheduleReview and manage scheduled trailer close times for hours scheduled to loadInputs trailer information into Scan-Data/TMS for the manifest to assign trailers to hubs and dock doors. May record in TMS the load start time and load end time when trailers are ready to be pulled from the doorScan-Data for opening and closing truck manifests, monitoring loading trucks and manual processing through load audit proceduresYour Impact
Download manifest information from the PC and audits truckloadsPerform other traffic functions such as, meet drivers, dispatches and schedule trailers, and complete paperworkCoordinate repairs and fueling with outside vendorsResolve complex issues, and identify trends and resolve problemsMaintain the yard, and respond to priority needs as notifiedWhat You Bring
High school diploma or equivalentCombination of training is required1+ Year experience driving and operating similar equipment
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
