Program Description:

The ERP Program Manager is responsible for the proper implementation and usage of the ERP system to maximize its effectiveness as a business tool for the company. In addition, any upgrades or complete conversions in the ERP system would fall into the managers scope of responsibility as well as, all ERP related special reports for end users.Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes indirectEssential Job Functions:Essential job functions represent the fundamental job duties and accountabilities of the employment position the individual holding the position must be capable of performing. The Director or his/her designee may assign other duties and accountabilities limited to those consistent with the applicable scope of the appropriate professional job function.Managing ERP SystemResponsible for defining, acquiring, allocating and optimizing resources across all projects, as well as any additional work that is requiredEffectively anticipate and manage issues and risksResponsible for defining, acquiring, allocating and optimizing resources across all projectsAbility to develop an effective planning process, including an integrated project schedule that encompasses all aspects for the ERP ProgramAbility to make timely, effective decisions in a logical and thoughtful manner, weighing conflicting information where necessaryAbility to create and maintain a financial management processes that incorporate actual financial performance to forecasted performance and justifies all variancesAbility to accurately forecast expenditures in alignment with the projectsManage and deliver large and complex ERP engagements to identify design, and implement creative business and technology solutionsUpdate and manage ERP system to ensure it provides company with proper business solutions and accurate resultsAnalyze data processing modules and identify areas of enhancements and improvementsAbility to provide procedures and reports to identify and resolve data integrity issuesAbility to provide field support by answering questions or handling user support requests/escalationsDepartment SupportAbility to assist departments with the ERP System and support business users in understanding the requirements, alternative solutions, resolving problems, communicating status, documenting system changes, and providing ongoing maintenance of users, configurations, and integrations.Ability to assist with current, new or modified reporting requestsManage engagement risk, project economics, planning and budgeting and accounts receivableAbility to participate in IT and cross-functional meetings to support staff and various team members to review upcoming issues, items, and trainings.Ability to manage and maintain integrations to key operational systems, user permissions, security roles and security teamsManage system requests, assess viability and collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and IT resources to determine solutionsManage routine interactions with client management and sponsorshipAssist in the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using the standard tools, drafting statements of work and presentation to clients and prospectsData SupportResponsible for all foundational systems that move date, i.e., Sales Orders, Fulfillments, POs, etc.Ability to work with other key positions to build the future of our forecasting, demand planning, and overall growth.Develop, implement and maintain a detailed project work plan, including traceable requirements, appropriate controls, and monitoring to ensure timely, on-budget and quality outcomesPosition SpecificationsQualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Education and/or Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and/or training: Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or EquivalentMinimum of 5 years Demonstrated experience implementing large ERP systems such as SAP/Microsoft GP / Dynamics/OracleIntermediate Skills and knowledge in addressing both business and IT activities associated with an ERP projectIntermediate Knowledge of ERP modules: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and supply chain inventoryIntermediate Skilled in problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesIntermediate Skilled in process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering, overall solutions definition including process, information, people and technology componentsAdvanced Skill in documentation and attention to detailAdvanced Skill in basic computer functions such as word processors, spreadsheets, and internet usageLanguage Abilities:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and work place policies.
