OPEN POSITION:Physician - Family Medicine
SCHEDULE:- Full-Time- 4 1/2 Day Work Week- Shared Clinic Call Schedule
COMPENSATION:- $240,000 to $250,000 Guaranteed Base Salary- Generous RVU Bonus Model- Sign-On Bonus- Relocation Assistance- Loan Repayment Plan- Malpractice Insurance- Health / Dental / Vision Insurance- LTD / STD / Life Insurance- 7+ Weeks Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, CME, holidays)- $4,500 Annual Professional Allowance- Retirement Plan
LOCATION:Lake Charles, Louisiana
COMPANY PROFILE:Serving the local community since the 1950s, this regional healthcare system is dedicated to providing full service primary care, specialty, inpatient, and outpatient services to the local community. Their offerings include, among others, family medicine, internal medicine, hematology/oncology, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and rheumatology. All providers are employees of the system, which comprises hospitals, clinics, specialty institutes, and residency programs.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:The new physician will have the option for a traditional practice or ambulatory only, based on their preference.
The average number of patients per day varies, depending upon patient needs, setting, and physician preference. There are options for high volume and low volume panels.
Physicians work with dedicated assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during visits as needed.
The practice has extensive resources available, including an EHR and robust administrative support.
While not required, the physician will have the opportunity to augment their practice with additional roles such as inpatient rehabilitation rounding, long-term acute care rounding, nursing home rounding, and directorships.
REQUIREMENTS:- Louisiana medical license- DEA- Board Certified or Eligible, Family Medicine
