Gordon Ramsay North America is adding a Manager, Restaurant Systems Support to our team. This individual will support restaurant software applications of GRNA. This role enforces standards for functional and technical software requirements are in place while upholding formal quality assurance standards. The Manager of Restaurant Systems Support managed and updates vital Restaurant Systems applications that are critical to our success.
This person will report to the VP, IT Restaurant Systems and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Keeps leadership and teammates updated and informed. This includes developing strong cross-functional relationships and managing cross-functional projects.
•Team up with cross-functional departments to evaluate restaurant systems needs and craft tailored technology strategies fit for the fast-paced restaurant environment.
•Administer and update the Point-of-Sale system including but not limited to, food and alcohol menu updates, pricing changes, and promotional changes.
•Assist in supporting related Restaurant Systems solutions including but not limited to: POS, Back Office, Labor Management Tools, Reservation Systems, 3rd Party Delivery Applications, and Online Ordering Systems.
•Enforce IT protocols, procedures, and best practices, safeguarding security, compliance, and data integrity.
•Supports the Restaurants through providing Tier 3 support on Restaurant Systems technical issues.
•Works in coordination with the Director of Culinary Systems to ensure the back-office system is performing as expected.
•Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies, methods, and systems.
•Provide ad hoc reporting.
•Identifies and analyzes problems and develops workable solutions.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in process improvement and have 2+ years of experience installing, managing, and supporting restaurant POS systems.
Experience with Oracle Symphony configuration, Micros and Hot schedules is required. Experience in multi brand environments is a plus. Must have proven business and technology skills, with success providing customer-oriented technology solutions environment, as well as communicate effectively, and show initiative and a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks and projects.
