What You'll Do:

This position maintains inventory accuracy at the site location. In this role, you will execute R3 (SAP) transactions and daily logistical needs by working with production employees, supervisors, and management in maintaining inventory accuracy and resolving inventory discrepancies.Run inventory reports daily/weekly/monthly to ensure accuracy at location, including package inventory and direct materials.Knowledge and use of production rates in inventory/direct material usage predictionAbility to give direction on material types to use to accurately manage direct material levels.Utilize problem solving tools to determine root cause of inaccurate inventory.Continuously maintain a high level of quality standards within safety, employee attendance, operational discipline, process safety management, housekeeping, and maintenanceLead, coordinate, and work in all positions, and shifts within the plant operations.Assist with managing bulk and bagged seed inventories and product movement activities as required.Monitor and ensure adherence to "Standard Work" and product quality activities meet the requirements of the Quality PlanEffectively communicate with team members on a consistent basis to ensure accurate and complete information is provided.Assist, train, and lead Technicians within the production, warehouse, field, and logistical areas to ensure production goals are accomplished.Provide input and assists teams and supervisor with special and capital projects, workforce planning, employee schedules, etc.Support the oversight of harvest, receiving, bulk load out, conditioning, bagging, warehousing operation to maximize material flow and process efficiencies.Ensure equipment, materials are available and staged for next process order (e.g., tags, bags, boxes, treatment, etc.).Effectively demonstrate, communicate, and lead safety standards expectations to team with regards to OSHA requirements, Corteva's policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a strong safety culture.Accurately complete appropriate records, documents, and reports as required.Work as a Production Technician as needed and assume the duty of Supervisor in their absence.Various other duties as assigned by supervisors.During peak packaging season (November - February) the Princeton production plant runs a 24/5 flex schedule based on demand. Shift hours can be 8 to 12 hours depending on which schedule is utilized. Our operations stagger down to one shift during summer months.Qualifications

What Skills You Need:

High School Diploma/GED1-2 years of shipping, transportation, inventory management, and logistics experience in a production agriculture or plant operations environment or equivalent production process experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills.Strong computer skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to multitask with a high attention to details.Willingness and ability to work overtime hours including weekend work required during seasonal peaks and different shifts as needed.Willing to go out on the floor and capture inventory information as needed (this will be required if no staff are available to supply the information required)Willing to work in other areas that need support, as needed.Willing and able to lift at least 50Ibs with or with reasonable accommodation.Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions.Team building and networking, problem resolution, and customer service skills.What Makes You Stand Out:
