This internship is for the duration of Summer 2025 with a full-time (40hrs/week) schedule.Responsibilities:+ Experience the critical interfaces of Procurement with the other vital functions in the business enterprise.+ Participate in the challenging and dynamic aspects of interactions with a large, global, industrial based supply base.+ Apply critical thinking skills applied to prioritized projects and programs.+ Experience first-hand the opportunity to perform reviews of the Allison supply chain base and assign metrics of financial viability which will be reviewed with Allison leadership.+ Monitor price and market development for the relevant raw materials and commodities and glean market information to assist with annual budget process.+ Complete challenging and meaningful projects in a face paced environment.+ Function as a critical liaison between manufacturing team, the supply base, and the companys internal organization+ Analyze, prepare, and report on business-critical information to the broader Procurement team+ Assess supply chain risk.
