As a Risk Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks within a Fortune 500 Financial Services company. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing risk management strategies to safeguard the companys assets and reputation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into business decisions and processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively are essential for success in this position. Your contributions will support commitments to maintaining a strong risk management framework and promoting a culture of risk awareness across the organization.Responsibilities:Manage the Event and Issue lifecycle, including timely scoping of breakdowns (anomalies) and record creation in Fuse, using established processes and standardsPartner with VRM, Legal and Compliance partners to understand risk exposure from breakdowns to provide guidance to the business on customer recovery, containment, and remediationGuide business partners through root cause analysis to ensure breakdowns are fully understood and to influence sustainable containment activities to prevent similar future breakdownsCoordinate, influence, and negotiate priorities with partner dependencies to ensure event goals/timelines are met, escalating when appropriateAssist with research and problem-solving as needed to support business partnersProactively provide Fuse training and development for teammates and others, as necessaryIdentify and drive continuous process improvement opportunities to streamline issue/event management lifecycleAnalyze data to proactively identify risks and trends and provide business areas with actionable insights; prepare reporting for Executive LeadershipSupport risk assessments and related activities (Process Level Assessments, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, etc.)Participate in risk forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk management practicesSupport other risk management efforts as may be necessary, such as audits and regulatory examsQualifications:3+ years of risk operations, compliance, audit, or risk management experience2+ years of experience in process management, project management, or risk managementExperience using spreadsheets to analyze data and drive reportingExperience using Fuse or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools preferredLean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management or Project Management Certification preferredDexian is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
