With offices in Chicago, Miami, and around the world through the power of remote work, we are a lean and innovative team always seeking like-minded talent to join us in our fight to disrupt consumer finance.Key Responsibilities:Monitor key funnel metrics, reports, and dashboards to evaluate the performance of our products and understand the root causes of changesEstablish funnel performance metrics and develop automated reporting and alerting using SQL and PythonConduct analysis using advanced data analytics to evaluate trends in funnel and fraud performance and provide optimization strategy recommendations to improve metricsDesign, implement, and thoroughly test changes to the customer acquisition and underwriting system to optimize origination volume and loan performanceWrite and maintain a suite of unit and regression test cases to ensure the accuracy of changes to the customer acquisition and underwriting systemCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement funnel or underwriting strategy changes, monitor releases, and perform impact analysisCommunicate concise and actionable business strategy recommendations to senior managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., math, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, or other quantitative fields)2+ years of experience working with python and SQL for data analysis in a professional settingWorking SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring, as well as familiarity with a variety of databasesStrong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detailAbility to work effectively while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, understand the project requirements with minimal guidance, follow through to completionAdditional Pluses, but Not Requirements:Experience working with specialty finance or FinTechAdvanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., math, statistics, analytics, quantitative finance, engineering, or other quantitative fields)Experience with BI reporting toolsBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageFlexible, remote work Fun, fast-paced work environmentDynamic start-up cultureAbility to make an immediate impact in a growth stage companyConvenient downtown Chicago office located in the heart of the cityEqual opportunity employer
