As part of the Postman Security Assurance team, the Field Security team safeguards Postman's integrity and customer trust by enhancing security measures and promoting security awareness. We strive to support the sales organization through expert training, strategic alignment, and effective customer assurance activities, ultimately driving growth and maintaining a robust security posture. Reporting to the Field Security Manager, the Field Security Analyst is responsible for supporting sales enablement by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of customer-related requests, including questionnaires, contract reviews, and client meetings. This position also involves identifying trends, developing metrics, and preparing reports on Field Security activities.What You'll Do:Collaborate with sales teams to handle all security-related customer requests promptly and accurately. This includes completing security questionnaires, conducting security reviews of customer contracts, and participating in virtual meetings with customers to address their security concerns.Assist in effectively conveying our security posture to customers, addressing their concerns, and providing necessary documentation and information.Oversee and maintain the security knowledge base, ensuring it is comprehensive, up-to-date, and a vital component of our customer assurance efforts.Develop and deliver security training to sales and other relevant teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to discuss our security practices confidently.Assist with the development and reporting of metrics relating to Field Security activities.Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure consistent and comprehensive security practices and responses.About You:3 - 5 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a field security or customer-facing security position.Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and standards, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on understanding and addressing customer security concerns and requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise security information and training.High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all security-related documentation and communications.Ability to identify trends, develop metrics, and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.Proactive and resourceful in addressing challenges and finding effective solutions.Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.Our Values

If the role is based in the greater San Francisco area, and the we are offering a base range of $132,000 to $155,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend.
